We have purchased our hardware needs from Lake Forest Ace Hardware since we moved here years ago. One of our purchases was a large Weber grill. Late last week we had a storm in the area and our beautiful grill was picked up by a micro burst and tossed across the patio. We called the hardware owner Chris and he personally came over and placed everything inside it that was all tossed into a mess back in perfect order and made sure it was working perfectly. WHO DOES THAT !!!……..YOU CAN DEPEND ON THEM !! THANKS CHRIS
Owners and staff are always helpful and a delight to be serviced by them
The staff at True Value in Lake Forest is very helpful and always willing to assist! Whether a light bulb for a microwave or a single screw of any kind, if they do not have it, they will order it. Though, they have a plentiful stock of most items I need.
Unbelievably great hardware store. The staff is beyond helpful and pleasant. A terrific shopping experience. Thanks
The friendliest and most helpful staff that I've met in any kind of retail establishment. Their customer relations should be an example for every business to copy. They also have some cool stuff that I haven't seen elsewhere.
Helpful staff. I was in a hurry they directed me perfectly. In and out in just a couple min.
So much more than a hardware store!
Great neighborhood hardware store. Super helpful staff who care about their customers.
Absolutely terrific experience. As a new LF resident, this is my go-to stop for all of my household needs. They are family owned and their customer service is best-in-class.
Diverse, quality merchandise. Hometown customer service.
They are simply terrific! Amazing customer service. They have anything and everything. We must preserve the local businesses!
Thank God they had the 5 halogens I needed! Friendly knowledgeable
Morgan's Lake Forest Hardware is one of the most convenient hardware stores locally. It is a family run business and it has been in the area for a long time. They seem to have everything from gifts, to hardware. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming when you first come in and enter the store. I have been working there for a little over a year, and I strive to go out of our way to help the customers needs. We value our customers and we will go above and beyond to make sure the customer comes first. I would recommend to stop by and see what we have.
This hardware store is probably one of the most unique ones that you will find. They have cards, home decor, balloons, candles, and a decently sized toy section besides the hardware. Most of the staff in my opinion will go the extra mile to make sure that you have a positive experience. They just celebrated their 32nd year of being open. They remodeled a little bit, and it was a good change. I honestly think that the a store is worth checking out. Support local!
Great service
I like to support local family owned businesses, and this is one of the best!! Fabulous gifts, seasonal decor, Yankee candles, large card and paper goods selection for gifts or hosting parties, great help in hardware no matter what I have needed. I moved 16 miles away, but I live coming back here for great selection and service.
Great local alternative to the big box stores.
Great selection and always helpful staff!
